Flying For a Great Cause

At Thermo Systems, we’re incredibly proud of our team that gives wholeheartedly not only to all our customers but to the causes they are passionate about. John Solt, Thermo’s Senior Engineering Manager, was recently featured in Limerick Living magazine about his work with Angel Flight East. This is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community by facilitating free air transportation for children and adults with medical conditions who need to get treatment far from home. When John isn’t busy delivering excellence for our clients, he is a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight East.

John has flown around 30 such missions since 2017. Before that, John and his wife Faith took a sabbatical to volunteer for a similar charity, serving missionary-based flights in Zambia and Botswana on the African continent.

John and Faith’s selfless endeavors have benefited countless lives, and we are proud to have them as a part of our Thermo family!
