Thermo Systems Commences Pilot Plant Commissioning Effort

Thermo Systems has commenced commissioning of the plant wide process automation system serving Morphotek Pharmaceuticals new Exton, PA Pilot Plant.  This state of the art Allen Bradley PLC based solution was designed, built, programmed and installed as a turn-key solution delivered by Thermo Systems LLC.  The plant-wide Process Automation System (PAS) integrates WFI systems, bioreactors, kill systems, process chilled water, and environmental monitoring into a single integrated building network.  Separately the plant-wide Building Automation System (BAS) integrates chillers, boilers, air handlers and non validated systems into a single spate web based utility.  A Wonderware IAS SCADA platform was selected to integrate the network of Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs.

This is the second large scale automation solution that Thermo Systems has deployed for Morphotek Pharmaceuticals.  In addition to large scale projects such as this, the Thermo Services Team supports Morphotek with 24/7 on call support, remote diagnostics, and on site project support.
