Last quarter’s edition of District Energy magazine featured an article from Thermo’s president & CEO, David Musto. In it, he breaks down what a microgrid controller (and control system) is and why they’re beneficial to our industrial facilities customers. In the wake of disasters like Sandy, Harvey, Irma, and Maria, the topic of resilient microgrids has really hit home for many in our industry.

In addition to the article, Mr. Musto also gave a presentation on industry best practices for microgrid control systems at the annual IDEA (International District Energy Association) conference in Scottsdale, AZ in June. Thermo is on a roll sharing microgrid knowledge!
