Engineers Collaborate at Thermo’s 2nd Annual Controls for Data Centers Training
Thermo Systems remains at the forefront of automation and information trends, offering industry-leading expertise in the District Energy, Life Sciences, and Mission Critical markets. Despite the recent pandemic, we are committed to investing in our teams by consistently providing training in the latest technologies, ensuring that our control systems experts are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide the best service and solutions to our customers.
We hosted our second annual Controls for Data Centers Training in Park City, Utah, at the Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley last month. Venue selection was paramount for the safety of all people involved and was selected based on space accommodations, safe meal prep, and experience in operating per the current COVID requirements.
The datacenter program specific training was attended by the Thermo Systems team and members from the clients’ team. The intent of the training was to ramp new team members up on our data center client’s specific program standards. Our control systems engineers also shared project-specific and general technical knowledge, collaborated on existing data center projects nationwide, and sharpened their data center industry skills. Courses covered various topics such as deep dives into the submittal packages, PLC programming standards, SCADA programming standards, commissioning practices, installation guidelines, program specific software tools, and more.
All attendees left the event energized and equipped with the knowledge and tools to provide excellent solutions in the industry. We’re looking forward to hosting our third Annual Controls for Data Centers Training next year!
