Thermo’s Salute to Service Tradition Supports Veterans for a 3rd Year

The Thermo Systems team joined together in a global effort to celebrate our nation’s veterans with our third annual “Thermo Salute to Service” initiative. Inspired by the NFL’s similar program, our Salute to Service involves recognizing our veteran employees by highlighting the value they bring to our Thermo team and customers in addition to a yearly charity fundraising effort.

For this year’s veteran-focused charity, Thermo has selected Fisher House Foundation. Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world. For our fundraiser, team members made contributions to Fisher House in return for special branded Veterans Day swag; then Thermo as a company double-matched our employee donations to raise money and awareness for the organization. We are extremely impressed by the generosity of our Thermo family and are pleased to support Fisher House Foundation this year with a total donation of nearly $4,500.
