Helping Support Our Nation’s Veterans
Thermo Systems is pleased to partner with Rockwell Automation in a new program to recruit, train and hire US veterans. The Academy for Advanced Manufacturing, launched by Rockwell, provides 12 intense weeks of technical training to recent vets in order to prepare them for a career in the automation industry. Thermo has signed a placement agreement with Rockwell to recruit and hire candidates from the upcoming July 2018 graduating class, mutually helping the program succeed as well as advancing our current nationwide hiring initiative.
Recently, President & CEO David Musto visited the Academy at Rockwell’s Milwaukee headquarters along with Thermo Control Systems Engineer and U.S. Navy veteran Wes Waddell. There, they were able to meet the 25 veteran students and share with them the many career opportunities within Thermo. This is an outstanding program helping young veterans transfer their military-gained technical skills to the automation business and Thermo is very excited to be a part of it.
