Thermo Systems’ East Windsor headquarters was recently buzzing with activity as 14 supervisors from across the nation gathered for our signature 2024 Supervisor Training Capstone! This event is a cornerstone of our commitment to continuous learning and leadership development, ensuring our supervisors are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support network necessary to lead effectively.
At Thermo Systems, we recognize that our unwavering success over the past 26 years has been built on the strength and expertise of our dedicated team members. This is why we are committed to continuous education and professional growth for every team member— from our newest hires to our seasoned leadership.
The Supervisor Training program, specially designed by Thermo Systems, emphasizes leadership qualities essential for our supervisors to excel. We embody the belief that ongoing training is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of service for our customers and providing high quality relationships while fostering professional growth among our team members.
Over the course of seven dynamic months, participants immersed themselves in a series of focused, virtual workshops, sharpening their supervisory skills in areas such as performance management, communications, and the fundamentals of supervision. They didn’t just learn – they took the lead, conducting research and presenting workshops to each other, fostering a collaborative learning environment. The program culminated in powerful sessions on Change Management, Organizational Culture and Leadership, and Positive Psychology, where they delved into the key elements that shape and sustain a thriving work environment. A standout session on Key Leadership Skills brought everything together, equipping supervisors with the insights and techniques to truly inspire and guide their teams.
Beyond the classroom, the participants engaged in detailed team-building activities that were pivotal in strengthening their leadership skills. These events provided a unique opportunity for the group to connect and collaborate, with the added highlight of being joined by CEO Eric Silk, CPO Sueann Snodgrass, and our VPs of Operations, Sai Lo and Dustin Phillips. Their involvement shined light on Thermo Systems’ dedication to building a strong, cohesive culture and allowed for meaningful discussions within the team.
After the team-building sessions, the group enjoyed a visit from Mr. Softee for some sweet treats. The event was capped off with a celebratory graduation dinner at a local restaurant, marking the successful completion of their journey toward becoming outstanding leaders!
Congratulations to all the participants on their achievements, and a special thank you to Kat Mathews and the event organizers for orchestrating such a fantastic event!
