It has recently been announced that Thermo’s University of Minnesota Combined Heat & Power (CHP) plant project has won GOLD in the Energy category of the ACEC Texas Engineering Excellence Awards!
The Engineering Excellence Awards Competition has been held by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Texas since its inception in 1975 to honor and recognize outstanding achievements within the engineering community. Entries are judged based on originality and innovation; future value to the engineering profession; social, economic and sustainable design considerations; complexity; and meeting the client’s needs.
The UMinn project is engineered by Jacobs, who is headquartered in Dallas, TX and a member of ACEC Texas. We are very proud of being a part of this project and of this great accomplishment by the entire University of Minnesota CHP team!
