This month, Thermo Systems held our semiannual all-hands training, where both local and satellite employees converged at the corporate headquarters in East Windsor, NJ for several days of learning and team building. During training, team members attend various sessions focused on new technologies and trends, partner products and software, and company-specific standards and procedures, such as Thermo’s Project Execution Model or Quality Management System.
Thermo Systems’ winter and summer training weeks are part of the unique professional development program that we are proud to maintain and that our employees have the chance to take part in. Along with Thermo University (or Thermo U) – where the team receives ongoing education on interpersonal, technical, and business skills – the semiannual training sessions provide knowledge on both technical and business topics such as PLC Programming and Advanced Programming Techniques, PLC/SCADA Standards Evaluation, and Management Training/Coaching.
“We are very proud of Thermo U. Professional training is fundamental to our vision of being a place where team members learn, grow, and thrive,” commented David Musto, Thermo Systems’ President and CEO. “It is great for our team and enables us all to better serve our customers. Equally as important is the time we get to spend together, sharing our experiences and catching up with everyone from around the Thermoverse.”
Following the training sessions, Thermo kicked off the summer with a well-deserved barbecue for the team and their families.
