Thermo's Veteran Commitment

Thermo Systems has committed to taking our core value of employee success and extending it to our nation's veterans. We pride ourselves on helping veterans transition from military life to the private sector. As a result, Thermo was awarded the 2023 HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award, the 2022 HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award, the 2020 HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion Award, and the 2019 HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award from the U.S. Department of Labor. This award is given to recognize job creators who demonstrate a strong commitment to recruiting, hiring and retaining our nation’s veterans.

Our Veterans Initiative

Recognizing Our Thermo Veterans

We recognize and celebrate our veteran team members and thank them for their service.

Community Involvement

We make it a point to get involved in our community. From Toys For Tots to the Marine Corp Marathon fundraisers, we are proud to be engaged in veteran-focused programs and veteran-run charities.

Veteran Recruiting

The largest component of our initiative is veteran recruiting. We recognize the skills, teamwork, and leadership that veterans can bring to the Thermo team. Thermo Systems is invested in several veteran recruiting initiatives including the Rockwell AAM program detailed below.

Transition Support

Military Life to the Private Sector

At Thermo Systems, we recognize that transitioning from a military career to the private sector is more than just changing jobs. We provide transition assistance to ensure that our new veteran hires successfully move to the private sector, hit the ground running, and jump start their careers at Thermo.

Our National and Global Footprint

We have opportunities available throughout the U.S. and we are now growing rapidly in Europe. We call this the "Thermoverse" and we strive to enable team members to be able to move around the country without leaving the Thermo umbrella.

Onboarding and Team Building

Your career at Thermo will begin with a comprehensive onboarding program at our New Jersey headquarters. The next step is onboarding at your local site and may also include stops at related assignments to strengthen your skills, interface with additional team members, and build your confidence.

Rockwell Automation AAM Program
Rockwell Automation's Academy of Advanced Manufacturing (AAM) is an intensive 12-week program for U.S. military veterans, designed to provide them with the skills they need for careers in advanced instrumentation, automation, and controls fields. Thermo Systems began working with AAM in 2018 and has seen huge success with hiring candidates from the program. Check out this video that highlights Thermo's role in the program!
